A SUSPECT, aged 35, from High Wycombe is in custody after a man was stabbed at a small housing estate in Princes Risborough.

The Wycombe man was detained on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent after a man in his 30s was stabbed in Laidler Gardens at 10.45pm on Tuesday.

The victim was taken to hospital after suffering a head injury.

Police have reassured residents of the housing estate that the people involved were thought to be known to each other and pose no wider public risk.
