Ten places in Buckinghamshire are among the best spots to live in England, according to lifestyle website Muddy Stilettos.
The brand publishes a highly anticipated list of the best places to live across the country each year, breaking down its shortlist by counties and regions in the run-up to announcing the reigning champions.
And this year eight towns and villages in Buckinghamshire have made the final round-up, which is compiled by Muddy Stilettos editors based on criteria including sense of community, access to schools and their retail and culture scenes.
Marlow beat out the competition to be named best place to live in the county in the 2024 guide – but will have to outdo a number of other pretty hamlets and commuter hotspots to retain its title next year. Which do you think is the best place to set down roots on local turf?
Muddy Stilettos' best places to live in Buckinghamshire for 2025 are as follows:
Marlow
Amersham
Bourne End
Brill
Beaconsfield
Olney
Speen
The Chalfonts
Turville
Whiteleaf
