A 350-home estate being built in Beaconsfield has taken a step forward as plans for the next section of the site have been published.
This is just one of the many applications considered by Buckinghamshire Council during the past seven days.

Reserved matters for Wilton Park, Gorell Road, Beaconsfield (PL/24/3199/DE)
Detailed plans for the next stage of the Wilton Park development of 350 new homes have been revealed.
Bewley Homes has asked Buckinghamshire Council to approve its detailed plans for 37 of the homes under the third phase of the site.
The developer said there will be a mixture of two-bedroom apartments and three and four-bedroom houses, with 10 of the new homes set to be affordable.
A total of 88 car parking spaces will serve the homes, while vehicle access will be from Gorell Road and Minerva Way, the applicant said.
Plans state that the 37 new homes will have ‘generous garden space’ and tree planting ‘to provide shade for parking spaces and to soften the street scene’.
Outline planning permission to develop the Wilton Park site, a former Ministry of Defence school of languages, was originally granted in 2019.
Extensions and pool, 45 Lye Green Road, Chesham (PL/24/2094/FA)
Mr and Mrs D Rolles have been given permission to develop and extend the Grade II listed Codmore Farmhouse.
The applicants plan to build two-storey rear and single storey side extensions, as well as add a swimming pool, fishpond and detached garden outbuilding.
External work to repair the building is also planned, while inside partitions will be removed, a staircase repositioned, a mezzanine floor put in and modern insulation and heating fitted, including underfloor heating.
Plans for the project read: “Codmore Farmhouse has been trying for many years through the 20th century to find its identity as a family home, never quite finding its place.
“After significant analysis of the historical development and fabric changes over the period we believe that a sustainable family home for now and the future can be had with this scheme.”
New garage with gym and office, 36 Amersham Road, High Wycombe (24/06569/FUL)
Planners have refused to grant Mr Wasim Williams permission for the new outbuilding at the front of Number 36.
Floorplans for the proposed two-storey structure show a detached garage on the ground floor, with and gym and office space above.
In their notice of refusal, officers wrote: “The proposed two storey detached garage by virtue of its siting, size, form and design would not be subservient in scale to the host property but instead would obscure and visually detract from the character and appearance of the host property.”
