A man in his thirties has been arrested after a stabbing in Princes Risborough.
The 35-year-old from High Wycombe was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent following an altercation in Laidler Gardens on Monday night, October 21.
A man in his thirties was reportedly stabbed during an exchange between two men at 10:45pm which left one person with a head injury.
The injured man was treated in hospital but has since been discharged.
Detective Inspector Dom Muldoon of Buckinghamshire CID said: “I know that incidents such as this cause great concern in our local communities, but I would like to reassure that we believe this to be an isolated incident and believe that the victim and offender are known to each other.
“I would like to thank those witnesses who have already come forward to provide information and would also like to appeal to any further witnesses to please contact us.
“Please review CCTV or dash-cam footage that you may have and get in touch if it has captured the incident.

Details previously published by Thames Valley Police said the incident took place on October 22, but it has now been confirmed as happening on October 21.
