A garden centre is set to host a Christmas shopping night in aid of a teenage cancer charity.
The Dobbies Aylesbury store will kick off its festive season with a late-night shopping event on November 21, supporting its national charity partner, the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The Christmas shopping night, which is scheduled to run from 5pm to 9pm, will allow customers to enjoy the full Christmas experience - from the sight of twinkling lights and eye-catching decorations to the sound of Christmas music and jingle bells.
Attendees will also have the chance to browse Dobbies' 2024 festive collections and benefit from special offers.
On arrival, guests will be welcomed with a complimentary glass of fizz and can enjoy the festive atmosphere until 9pm.
The event will feature festive food treats, live demonstrations throughout the store, and a special two-course Christmas menu in the restaurant for £17.
Community groups, schools, and charities have been invited to participate in the evening’s festivities by decorating their own faux Christmas tree, which will be unveiled on the night.
Selected groups will have the opportunity to perform carols, readings, and songs beside their decorated trees, which will be part of Dobbies' festive displays for the Christmas season.
Ayesha Nickson, Dobbies’ events programme manager, said: "Our annual Christmas shopping night is a fantastic way to get into the festive spirit, while contributing to a great cause.
"We have raised more than £1.39million for the Teenage Cancer Trust since the start of our partnership.
"We’re excited to welcome local groups to take part in this year’s celebrations, including the unveiling of the specially decorated Christmas trees."
Donna Bednarek, senior relationships manager for the Teenage Cancer Trust, added: "We are incredibly grateful to Dobbies for their ongoing support and dedication to raising vital funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
"Events like the Christmas shopping night help us to continue to provide life-changing care and support to young people with cancer across the UK.
"We’re thrilled to be part of such a magical evening, and it’s heartwarming to see the community come together to support our cause."
Tickets for the event are priced at £1 and are available for purchase at Dobbies' website and in-store.
All proceeds from ticket sales and fundraising on the night will be donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
