A nine-year-old girl has won £1,000 after designing a new debit card for a financial education app.
GoHenry, the prepaid debit card and financial education app for kids and teens, announced the winners of its Creative Club card competition on September 25.
The competition encouraged Generation Z and Generation Alpha to unleash their inner artists, offering five winners £1,000 each and the chance to see their designs featured on GoHenry cards.
More than 1,300 entries were submitted from kids aged 6-18 across five age categories.
Among the winners was Imogen Farrer, a nine-year-old from Little Chalfont, who won the 8-10 category with her cloud and rainbow design that she drew digitally.
Imogen's card is now available to order from GoHenry’s website.
Speaking about her win, Imogen said: "I love clouds and rainbows and drawing cute faces too, which inspired my design for the competition.
"I'm so happy to be one of the winners and will use the money towards a family trip to Disneyland Paris."
GoHenry’s co-founder and CEO, Louise Hill, said: "Congratulations to Imogen and all of the amazing young winners of our Creative Club competition!
"The designs are absolutely fantastic and show such incredible creativity.
"It's been amazing to see all the talent from Generation Z and Generation A - keep inspiring everyone around you."
Imogen's card and the other winning designs can be seen and ordered from the GoHenry website.
