A 44-year-old man has been charged with assault and weapon possession after someone was ‘cut in the face’ during a ‘dispute’ in Prestwood on Wednesday.
Thames Valley Police said the incident involved two people already known to each other and escalated from a “dispute” when one of them took “a minor cut to the face”.
They weren’t taken to hospital and the force reassured locals that there was no wider risk to the public.
Police confirmed today that Matthew Donaldson, 44, of Wrights Lane in Prestwood, was arrested following the altercation which happened at 12pm on Cherry Close earlier this week.
Donaldson has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH) and threatening a person with an offensive weapon.
He is due to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court today, October 18.
