Emergency services rescued an injured man from his car after it crashed into a tree in Hazlemere yesterday.
The A404 between Inkerman Drive and Gravelly Way was closed for over six hours following the collision between a car and tree at around 2:51 pm on Wednesday, October 16.
A unit and crew from the Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service were dispatched to the scene shortly before 3pm and found a man injured after the collision.
Firefighters helped him escape from the vehicle before passing him over to the South Central Ambulance Service.
Residents on social media described it as an "awful incident" with "lots of emergency services and mess on the road".
Meanwhile, others suggested that the long road closure was due to an "oil spill" and said there had been "broken bones" but no fatalities from the crash.
It was cleared by 11pm yesterday.
