A huge police presence was spotted in High Wycombe late on Tuesday evening.
Three police cars and two ambulances were seen at the corner of Castle Street between 9.30 pm and 10 pm on October 15.
One of the emergency vehicles was parked outside the town’s Post Office, whilst another was based next to the old Primark outlet.
Some were situated on the corner of the road, which made it difficult for some vehicles to get through.
Cars making their way past the scene were advised to ‘go slow’, as vehicles travelled up the hill towards Priory Road/Avenue.
Those heading down the hill were driving towards Amersham Hill/Crendon Street.
Pedestrians nearby were hesitant in making their way past the scene before one officer told a member of the public it was safe to do so and that ‘no road or pavement’ had been cordoned off.
No official reason has been disclosed as to why a huge emergency service presence was in the area, but the Free Press has contacted Thames Valley Police for more information.
