A 21-year-old man will spend the next three years in jail after being found guilty of numerous drug crimes in Aylesbury.
Shaun Edwards, who is originally from Hatfield, Hertfordshire, was convicted of supplying cocaine and heroin, and acquiring criminal property in the form of cash.
He was also convicted of escaping lawful custody as he tried to run off while handcuffed, before he was caught by officers from Thames Valley Police.
Edwards was eventually arrested for his crimes in August 2023 along Weedon Road, Aylesbury, by the Bucks Proactive Team.
The 21-year-old was sentenced to three years behind bars, and forfeited the drugs he was supplying, along with the money he made from the deals to the authorities.
Speaking on the sentencing, a spokesperson from Thames Valley Police said: “We will not tolerate drug dealing in Aylesbury or the Thames Valley.”
