In January, the festival continues with an Italian Concert for the New Year on Friday, January 10, at 4pm and 8pm. A 'vibrant' programme of Italian classics performed by renowned soloists and ensembles is promised.
On Valentine’s Day, Friday, February 14, at 8pm, the festival will present an evening of music from Bach, Mozart, and Schubert, capturing the essence of love through classical works.
The Amersham Festival of Music also continues to support young musicians through its annual bursary scheme. Over the past five years, more than £20,000 has been distributed to over 100 young musicians to cover tuition fees or help them acquire instruments.
