The Mayor of Chesham attended a very exciting event today which saw local people turn up for the opening of an exciting new amenity.
Chesham Town Council proudly posted a photograph of Councillor Francis Holly who was posing along with other important community members as he opened Windsor Road playground.
The event took place today Thursday, October 10 where the mayor opened the completely new refurbished playground which is now ready for children of different ages to come and enjoy all that it has to offer.
A spokesperson said "At 1pm today The Mayor officially opened the Windsor Road playground which has been refurbished.
"This was made possible by contributions from the Town Council (50%), The Community Board (25%) and Opportunity Bucks (25%).
"Also in attendance - Kara Byrne from Opportunity Bucks, Ross Tackley from the Community Board, Councillor Matthews, Councillor Williams, Councillor Ditta and Councillor Chaudhry alongside officers from the Town Hall."
