Residents of a care home in High Wycombe were joined by some furry friends during a fun-filled fundraising afternoon.
Ridley Manor in Lane End welcomed a bearded dragon, cockapoo, chicken, guinea pigs, rabbits, rats, and a tortoise from Lucia Tiny Farm as part of their Macmillan coffee afternoon.
The residents got the chance to handle the animals and learn about their personalities, favourite foods, and care routines.
Eighty-two-year-old resident Gill said: "A happy afternoon for a good cause, even though I am not an animal person, I had a great time and a good laugh with my fellow residents.
"I didn’t have a favourite animal, but loved watching the chicken run around.
"I personally felt the whole event was very beneficial for the people here living with dementia."
The event was open to the community, residents, relatives, and team members, all of whom donated to the charity.
