High Wycombe’s TGI Fridays branch will remain in business.
Hostmore, the UK operator of the American chain, entered administration last month which put all of their 86 restaurants across the UK at risk of closure.
This included the town’s outlet on Crest Road.
However, it has been confirmed Wycombe’s TGI Fridays will remain in business, one of 51 restaurants acquired by new owners, Breal Capital and Calveton UK.
However, 35 branches will permanently close with immediate effect.
This has resulted in more than 1,000 redundancies.
We have contacted TGI Fridays for a comment.
