A major motorway through Buckinghamshire was closed for the fifth time this week last night while emergency services responded to a two-car crash.
Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue services were called to the M40 northbound between Beaconsfield and Loudwater at 10:34pm yesterday, Monday, October 7, after reports of a two-vehicle collision.
The fire crews attended the incident, alongside Thames Valley Police and the South Central Ambulance Service, and rescued one man and two women, who were all injured, from the cars involved.
One girl was reportedly out of a vehicle and uninjured when emergency services arrived.
The M40 was temporarily closed by police while the rescue and clean-up operation took place.
It marks the fifth major incident on the stretch since last Wednesday, with two other crashes on the A404 near High Wycombe adding to a disruptive weekend in the county.
The worst of the above saw a man in his sixties tragically killed in a six-vehicle collision on the A404 southbound on Friday morning, October 4, with a woman also sustaining minor injuries.
