A GoFundMe page that was launched in memory of a ‘much-loved’ Chesham woman has nearly reached its financial goal.

Paige Hall, 25, sadly lost her life in the early hours of Tuesday, July 23, leaving behind her mum, dad, brother and young son.

The cause of death has not been disclosed to the public.

The community stalwart was best known in the town for founding the Acts of Kindness Chiltern And Surrounding Facebook page which has gathered more than 19,000 followers.

The group has played a huge role in Chesham and beyond, which has seen members of the public donate money, food, and goods to numerous causes and people in need.

Her tragic and sudden passing caused a huge shock to those who knew her and her family, which led to the creation of a GoFundMe page.

Donations were used towards the costs of Paige’s funeral which took place on Tuesday, August 20 at Prestwood Church, whilst the remaining amount will be left to her son, Jenson.

The initial target was £3,000 but this was achieved in a matter of days.

Donations continued to grow with the final goal being £12,500.

At the time of writing, £11,920 has been raised - £580 off the new target, with the last donation being made nearly one month ago.

A section of the GoFundMe page reads: “This beautiful, kind, caring young lady set up the charity page Acts of Kindness, Chiltern & surrounding areas almost five years ago.

“She gave so much of her own time, committed to helping those in need, making sure kids in hospitals got their Easter Eggs/Xmas gifts, helping the local women’s aid charities, dog charities - to be honest - she helped everyone & anyone she possibly could - too many to list.

“Paige’s AOK page had over 19k members.

“If we can give £1 each, just imagine the support we would be giving her family.

“Paige’s beautiful son, Jenson will need so much support - his mummy was his world - if we can help lift some of the financial burden at the moment this will help them focus on.”

Paige’s funeral was live-streamed on Facebook which was viewed over 2,000 times.

She was laid to rest in Prestwood with many family members and friends being in attendance.

Prior to her send-off, numerous people who knew the community champion a held lantern procession in her memory several days after the news of her death was confirmed.
