A huge police presence was spotted outside an Amersham property following rumours of a suspected cannabis farm being discovered.
The authorities were at the house in High Moor in the town across two days between Tuesday, October 1 and Wednesday, October 2.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: “At around 3.30pm on Tuesday (1/10) officers were called to a property in High Moor, Amersham.
“They attended and found the remnants of a small cannabis farm.
“The property was empty and it’s thought had been for some time.
“No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.”
They also confirmed that the incident ‘wasn’t a huge drugs bust.’
Whilst drug convictions can vary, the maximum that anyone can spend behind bars if found guilty/pleads guilty to growing/supplying cannabis is 14 years in prison.
Other punishments can be unlimited fines, but the punishments are related to the specifics of their case.
