A driver in High Wycombe has been given a warning by police after being caught drifting and wheel spinning outside the Asda on Holmers Farm Way.

Officers in the Marlow Neighbourhood Patrol Team heard a vehicle “drifting and wheel spinning” in the car park of the Wycombe supermarket on September 22.

They managed to capture the driver’s antics on bodycam and reported them for careless and inconsiderate driving.

The offender was also issued a section 59 notice for causing alarm, distress or annoyance and a community protection warning, with conditions set for future behaviour.

Thames Valley Police said they were aware of a “fairly large” car meet outside the Asda late last year, which a local councillor told the Free Press was “quite a common occurrence”.

Drivers at a meet outside the Asda in Milton Keynes also faced hefty fines and imprisonment in August after causing “thousands of pounds of damage” and engaging in “extremely dangerous behaviour”.
