Chiltern Open Air Museum is set to host its popular Halloween Spectacular event.
The heritage museum, located in Newland Park, Gorelands Lane, Chalfont St Peter, will open its doors for the one-night-only event on Friday, November 1.
The evening will last from 5pm to 9pm, with last admissions at 7.30pm.
The museum's collection of historic buildings, which were once homes and workplaces for ordinary people, will be the backdrop for the Halloween festivities.
The event includes a spooky woodland walk, fire performances, a bonfire, a 'spooky horse', and a host of family activities.
As an independent charity, the Halloween Spectacular serves as a special fundraising event.
The museum encourages families to come in costume, with a prize for the best dressed.
Visitors can enjoy storytelling around the fire at the Iron Age roundhouse, and grab some treats from the historic houses before warming up by the fire and toasting marshmallows.
For the more adventurous, the scary woodland walk awaits, although the museum warns of potential monsters lurking in the dark.
Younger children can enjoy a less spooky walk and family-friendly storytelling.
Hot food and drinks will be available to purchase on the night.
The museum advises pre-booking tickets as they are limited, and tickets can be purchased on the museum's website.
