Thames Water has apologised to residents in Downley who were left without water for hours after a mains pipe burst.
Homes in the HP13 area of High Wycombe, including those on Willoughby's Walk, Gray's Lane, Faulkner Way and Plomer Green Lane, lost access to water at around 3pm yesterday, Tuesday, October 1.
While some of the roads impacted saw their supply return after a burst water pipe was shut off at 5pm, others didn't regain access until the early hours of Wednesday morning.

A spokesperson for Thames Water said: "We're very sorry to people in the High Wycombe area who experienced low pressure or no water yesterday.
"This was due to a burst water mains pipe on Plomer Green. Our engineers located the burst on Tuesday afternoon and worked as quickly and safely as possible to carry out the repair.
"They shut off the pipe (on Tuesday evening), returning water pressure to the wider area."
