The award-winning musical Six is set to return to Wycombe Swan.

The show, written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, will be at the venue from November 25 to November 29 as part of its UK tour.

Tickets for the show will go on sale on Friday, September 27.

Six is a retelling of the stories of Henry VIII's six wives, who take to the microphone to narrate their personal tales.

The musical is said to transform 500 years of 'historical heartbreak into an 80-minute celebration of 21st-century girl power'.

The show has gained international acclaim, celebrating its third year at the Lena Horne Theatre on Broadway.

An additional North American tour is currently ongoing, and the second Australian tour is set to begin in Melbourne next month.

The musical has also been performed in South Korea, Las Vegas, Amsterdam, Germany, Italy, and Switzerland.

The new cast is also scheduled to perform in Singapore, the Philippines, and Japan.

In the UK, the London production is now in its sixth year in the West End, continuing its run at the Vaudeville Theatre, its third venue.

The UK tour is also breaking box office records and is now booked through 2025.

The cast of touring queens includes Billie Kerr as Catherine of Aragon, Yna Tresvalles as Anne Boleyn, Liberty Stottor as Jane Seymour, Hannah Victoria as Anna of Cleves, Lizzie Emery as Katherine Howard, and Eloise Lord as Catherine Parr.

Milly Willows, Erin Summerhayes, and Lorren Santo-Quinn will be the alternates, with Izzy Formby-Jackson as the super swing and dance captain.

The cast is supported by the show's all-female band, The Ladies in Waiting.

Six has won more than 35 major international awards, including the 2022 Tony Award for Best Original Score.

It also won the double Whatsonstage Award for Best West End Show in 2022 and 2023, and the 2020 BBC Radio 2 Audience Award for Best Musical.

The musical was nominated for five Olivier awards, including Best New Musical.

The original studio album of Six was certified Gold in 2021.

The musical is co-directed by Lucy Moss and Jamie Armitage, with choreography by Carrie-Anne Ingrouille.

The design team includes Emma Bailey (set design), Gabriella Slade (costume design), Tim Deiling (lighting design), and Paul Gatehouse (sound design).

The score features orchestrations by Tom Curran, with music supervision and vocal arrangements by Joe Beighton. Musical director Yutong Zhang and associate UK musical supervisor Lauren Hopkinson. Casting is by Pearson Casting. SIX is produced by Kenny Wax, Wendy & Andy Barnes and George Stiles.
