A popular event in Chesham will return to the town for the fifth consecutive year this weekend.
Taking place on Saturday, September 21, Peace in the Park returns to Lowndes Park, where there will be numerous activities and food stalls for families to enjoy.
Sponsored by the Rotary: Chesham Valley and organised by a dedicated team of community volunteers led by Parveiz Aslam MBE, attendees can look forward to exploring over 50 vibrant stalls offering a delightful array of food, informative exhibits from various organisations, and engaging displays from faith groups.
Mr Aslam, said: “We are thrilled to bring Peace in the Park back to Lowndes Park for its fifth edition.
“This event embodies the spirit of unity and collaboration that our community stands for.
“It's a day where we come together to celebrate our shared values and envision a more peaceful world.
“With each passing year, our event grows in attendance and impact, and we are excited to continue this tradition.
“The park will come alive with captivating entertainment acts designed to spread the message of peace and harmony.
"Peace in the Park has firmly established itself as a highlight in the local calendar, bringing people together in a spirit of togetherness and harmony.
“Over the past four years, it has been a powerful force for promoting peaceful coexistence and mutual understanding among diverse groups, symbolizing hope and unity.”
It will take place on Saturday, September 21 from 12 noon to 6pm.
