Four crews from the South Buckinghamshire area were deployed to deal with a huge fire in Chalfont St Peter.
Officers from Gerrards Cross, Amersham, High Wycombe and Fire all descended to Grange Fields in the village at around 5.50pm on Tuesday, September 17 following reports of a blaze that was coming from a garage.
Those in attendance used four sets of breathing apparatus, one main jet, two hose reels, an immediate emergency care kit and working-at-height equipment to deal with the fire, which had spread into a two-storey detached property.
A spokesperson from Bucks Fire and Rescue that ‘the garage was 100 per cent destroyed by the fire.’
A bedroom inside the property which the fire had spread to was also badly damaged, but only at 50 per cent.
Despite the severity of the incident, there were no reported injuries.
