Concerns are growing after a ‘much-loved’ whippet has been reported missing from Amersham.
The pooch, who is called Silk, disappeared on Tuesday, August 13 this year in the HP6 area of the town.
There have been reports that the pet has been spotted, but at the time of writing, she has not been returned to her elderly owners.
A missing dog’s poster has been created for the DogLost website, and at the time of write, it has been viewed nearly 3,000 times in the last month.
A worker from the website said: “We are working with the elderly owners of a beautiful dog called Silk, who went missing whilst staying with a relative whilst they were away.
“She has been seen a few times in the area, but despite social media campaigns, putting posters up and so on, we have had no luck finding her.
“We just really need help for some desperate owners.”
