Several drugs have been discovered in Chalfont St Peter following a police chase in the village.
In the evening of Wednesday, September 4, officers were called to the area and ended up in a pursuit with the driver of a Mercedes.
Once the chase ended, the person behind the wheel was eventually arrested.
Upon entering the vehicle, the force found several bags containing illegal substances.
In a very brief Facebook post, they jokingly said: “Sorry if your package was not delivered tonight…
“Following a pursuit in #ChalfontStPeter, officers located both a vehicle & a quantity of drugs.
"Enquiries into this matter are ongoing.”
The initial post has received over 100 reactions, over10 comments and has been shared nearly 20 times with many residents in the area thanking those at Thames Valley Police for their swift action.
The comical captain was also shared in the very active UK Road Traffic Police & News page, with more social media users across the country, once again, thanking the force for their efforts.
Two photos that have accompanied the social media post also revealed that the car in question was seized, as well as the drugs inside the vehicle.
