A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery as police look to track down a specific witness.

Security staff on Silbury Boulevard junction with 10th street in Milton Keynes were forced to intervene after a man in his 30s was assaulted and had his robbed, police have said.

The victim sustained minor injuries from the incident on Saturday, July 20 between 1pm and 1.30pm but no further hospital treatment was required.

The arrested man from Milton Keynes has been released on police bail whilst the investigation continues.

Thames Valley Police have since launched an appeal for a specific witness who is described by police as a man in their late teens to early 20s and of Asian heritage.

Officers added they are of a slim build with long black curly hair with shaved sides, and were wearing a black hoodie and cream and Khaki coloured cargo trousers with black trainers.

They were seen to be with an Asian boy, in their early teens, and were wearing a matching light grey and black Adidas tracksuit top and bottoms.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Patricia Montoya, said: “We are specifically appealing for a member of the public who witnessed the offence that may be able to provide us with further information.
