An Indian restaurant that has been ranked as one of the best in the country as it has been shortlisted for the upcoming Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards.
Radhuni Lounge in Princes Risborough has been nominated for the Regional Restaurant of the Year in the South Central section of the UK.
They will be up against establishments based in Reading, Southampton, Basingstoke, Pinner, Liss, Windsor and Southampton.
The takeaway, which also has a cocktail bar, is well known in the area, with Radhuni having a staggering 1,444 reviews on TripAdvisor – one of the highest numbers for a business in the UK on the website.
Akther Miah, who is the general manager, said: “It is very nice to see things and it’s down to the hard work of all the staff.
“We try our best to make our customers feel relaxed when they arrive, as we really care about the service we give.
“If you haven’t come along, please give us a try.”
When asked about why people like to return to Radhuni, manager Ray Ahmed told the Free Press: “We try and make all of our food as fresh as possible, and a lot of it is to do with the communication with the kitchen.
“We don’t want people waiting longer than they need to.
“For example, if a table have ordered their main meals, but have nearly finished their poppadoms, we will then make sure that there is not a long wait between them finishing that to having their food come out.
“It’s all about communication.
“Also, we work very hard as a team and we are passionate about what we do.”
