A pedestrian is fighting for their life after they were knocked down by an electric bike in High Wycombe.

A video taken by a bystander in the evening of Monday, August 19, shows two people lying along Desborough Road following the incident.

One person, who was surrounded by four people, suffered a deep cut to the head whilst the other leant on his side in pain.

In the 19-second clip, members of the public can be heard to ‘not move’ the injured parties as they stay stricken in the middle of the street.

One crouched down to reassure the person in question who had sustained the head injury, before they began to stroke their arm for comfort.

As this was taking place, the second person slowly began to move but remained on the ground in pain.

Another bystander went to check up on them before the video clip ended.

It has since been confirmed by Thames Valley Police that the incident was between a rider of an electric bike and a pedestrian.
