A frequently used charity shop in Chesham has closed its doors as it undergoes a renovation.
The RSPCA’s South Bucks branch, which is based along the town’s High Street, confirmed on August 14 that the store will not open to customers until the revamp is complete.
The works are due to last until the end of the month, and the shop is expected to reopen in the first week of September.
A brief notice in their window reads: “Dear customers, the shop will be closed from Wednesday, August 14.
“Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
“We are having a refurbishment and hope to see you all very soon.
“If you do have donations for us and are able to keep them until the first week in September, that would be great.
“We will update you on social media to let you know when we will be open for business.
“Your donations are very important as it raises money for all the animals in South Buckinghamshire.
“Thank you for all of your support and cooperation.”
The shop is frequently visited by those along the High Street, and has gained an average score of 4.4/5 from eight Google Reviews.
