Hundreds of mourners said their final goodbyes to one of Chesham’s most loved daughters.
Paige Hall, 25, was laid to rest on August 20 at the Holy Trinity Parish Church in Prestwood, where she was surrounded by numerous friends and family – one month on from her sudden passing.
The mother of one died in the early hours of Tuesday, July 23, leaving behind her mum, dad, brother and young son.
The much-loved woman was best known in the town for founding the Acts of kindness Chiltern And Surrounding Facebook page which has gathered more than 19,000 followers.
The page has played a huge role in Chesham and beyond, which has seen members of the public donate money, food, and goods to numerous causes and people in need.
Within the last 30 days, thousands of pounds have been raised for Paige’s young son, Jenson, whilst many donations have been left to causes close to the charity worker’s heart.
In several online tributes that were posted on August 20, in Paige’s memory.
The Fighting for Autism Facebook page said: “Today we laid our friend Paige to rest in what was a beautiful service for a beautiful person who meant so much to so many.
“Our thoughts are with Paige's Son, family and friends during this time of heartbreak and sorrow.”
The Bucks Pet Food Bank in High Wycombe said: “Sadly, yesterday [August 20] was the day no one wanted to do.
“The beautiful Paige Hall was laid to rest with her family by her side, and an amazing community that loved her so much for everything.
“She never wanted any credit for what she had done.
“She did it out of pure love for what she did and had a heart of gold.
“Her family gave her the most amazing send-off surrounded by her friends and community.
“Paige did amazing work in her life, and at only 25, she helped many people.
“We would talk regularly and try and help as many people as we could.
“She will be missed.
“Thinking of her family at this sad time, and her beautiful boy Jenson who she loved so much.”
It was also revealed that the Wycombe Food Hub, following permission from Paige’s mother, Jeanne, has set up a book of condolence at their outlet in the Chilterns Shopping Centre.
The book was been available to sign in since August 9, and will be given to the family after 28 days.
The charity said they hope people can come in and ‘write their special personal message.’
They added: “Please do come in and write in this book, we will make everyone welcome.”
Additionally, the funeral was livestreamed on Facebook, which has been watched over 2,000 times.
