An award-winning brewery has been named as the official drinks supplier to Wycombe Wanderers.

The Marlow-based Rebellion Beer has been supplying a range of beers at the stadium for the past five years and has now stepped up its commitment by taking over the full provision of drinks around Adams Park.

This came into effect for when the Chairboys played Birmingham City in the club’s opening league match of the season, which they lost 3-2.

This will include all beverages in the concourse, bars, fan zones and hospitality lounges, with Rebellion Lager, IPA, Hazy Pale, Black and a seasonal beer all available on tap, as well as Carlsberg Danish Pilsner and Saxby’s Cider.

Neil Peters, the club’s Head of Business Operations, said: “This is a huge step forward for us in terms of the experience for our supporters and it’s fantastic for us to be working more closely than ever before with a hugely successful and popular local brewery.

“This partnership delivers benefits for us in several ways, not least because of the quality of their drinks and the efficiency and professionalism of their service.

“Being based locally in Marlow, this is also a positive step for our sustainability strategy, heavily reducing the carbon footprint of our drinks supply, and we’re really pleased to be working with a local business to help boost the local economy and potentially create more jobs along the way.”

Tim Coombes, owner and co-founder of Rebellion Brewery, said: “We’re delighted to become the Official Drinks Supplier for Wycombe Wanderers in what is one of the most significant partnerships we have entered into during our 31 years in business.

“It was a pleasure to be welcomed into the club five years ago and we were thrilled to receive excellent feedback from many supporters and from the club themselves.

“Once this opportunity arose, we worked closely with the club to bring it to fruition and we’re excited to get underway.”
