A business park in High Wycombe has been sold off to a property company as part of a major £100million deal.

Kingsmead Business Park, based on the A40, has been purchased by Jansons Property.

The acquisition is part of the property developer's ambitious endeavour to reconstruct two former business parks, creating a massive 300,000 square feet of high-grade industrial infrastructure, a spokesman for Jansons Property said.

It is not yet known what will happen to the businesses based at the park.

The firm has also bought The Boulevard in Bracknell, an 8.1-acre site spanning 86,398 square feet of office area.

Kingsmead Business Park meanwhile offers a 7.5-acre site currently encompassing 142,610 square feet of office space.

A spokesman said: "These new acquisitions indicate the continued firm and steady demand for fresh, high-quality industrial and logistics spaces in the South East region, despite variable market conditions."

In other parts of the south east, such business parks have been transformed to make way for new lorry parks or data centres to match the need for logistics sites and processing plants to keep up with the nation's need for data storage.

Andy Jansons, Managing Director of Jansons Property, said: "These acquisitions perfectly align with our strategy to transform underperforming office sites into thriving industrial spaces.

"As businesses in the South East seek to expand, we are continuing to see strong demand for prime industrial stock and are proud to be at the forefront of meeting this demand, with the associated social and economic benefits."

The firm says it remains eager for new opportunities that align with their business plan to buy and refurbish underperforming office sites to satisfy the growing demand for industrial and logistics facilities.
