Members of the public have been urged to come forward with information following a racially aggravated assault in Aylesbury.

Between 2pm and 4pm on Saturday, August 10, a boy in his teens, was going past B&Q on Stocklake Road, heading towards Kingbrook, when he was stopped by two people.

The boy was on a mountain bike before being kicked off his bike.

He was then held down with his foot before having a racist comment hurled at them.

One of the two people then damaged a jet-wash that the boy had been using to wash cars locally with, which had been attached to his bike.

They also smashed the teenager’s iPod and damaged his bike by cutting the brake cable.

The boy suffered scrapes and bruising but did not require hospital treatment.

The offenders have been described as white men.

The first offender is believed to be aged in his 40s, was clean-shaven and had spiked gelled hair.

He was wearing a red and blue checked polo shirt and dirty black Nike trainers.

The second offender is believed to be aged in his 50s, had patchy ginger hair with stubble facial hair.

He was wearing an Adidas branded tracksuit.

Investigating officer PC Scott Miles, based at Aylesbury police station, said:  “This was an unprovoked attack on the victim.

“This happened in the late afternoon, and so I believe people would have seen this incident.

“We will not tolerate racism or violence of this nature on our patch, and we are investigating this incident as a priority.

“Members of the public may see an increased police presence while we investigate and increased patrols have been put in place.

“I am appealing for anybody who was in the vicinity of the Stocklake Road between 2pm and 4pm on Saturday and believes that they saw anything to contact police.

“If anyone has any information about the incident or can assist in identifying the offenders, please call the 24-hour non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 43240385714.
