2 Buckingham Place, Bellfield Road, High Wycombe (24/06398/PNPCR)
Plans to convert the offices into seven flats have been given the thumbs up by council planning officers.
They said Life Build Solutions Ltd’s plans to transform the buildings would be ‘within the scope of permitted development’.
However, they did say that the prior approval of sound insulation would be required before the conversion. This is due to the high levels of noise at the town centre site, which fronts onto the busy A4010 West Wycombe Road.
Officers said: “There are also various commercial uses in the vicinity. Representations from the council’s environmental health section note that there is likely to be high levels of noise associated with nearby commercial uses and road traffic.”
Plans show that two studio apartments would be located on each of the ground, first and second floors, while a two-bedroom flat would occupy the third floor.
Demolition of existing property and construction of new home, 22 Drews Park, Knotty Green (PL/24/2297/FA)
Mr and Mrs Nigel Stribley want to knock down their property ‘Chiltern House’ and build a new house and garage in its place.
The couple said their current home measured 290 metres square, while the proposed detached house to replace it would be 508 metres square.
Floorplans for the spacious new property show a drawing room, study, pantry, four bedrooms and a games room, which could also be used as a fifth bedroom.
Their plans are identical to those previously approved by the council, but which were not implemented within the three-year timeframe.
New HMO, 15 Conifer Rise, High Wycombe (24/06377/FUL)
Applicant Safeer Bashir wants to convert the loft of the terraced house as part of plans to use the property as a house in multiple occupation (HMO) with six bedrooms.
The documents he submitted to the council state the loft conversion would include a rear box dormer, while there would also be a single storey rear extension and garage conversion.
Plans show that there would be two bedrooms on the ground floor, including one in the garage, with a further three on the first floor and another in the loft.
