The grieving family of 18-year-old Brandon Ponton, who tragically lost his life in a road traffic incident on July 28 in Milton Keynes, have released a heartfelt tribute to their beloved son.

Late on Wednesday 31st July, Brandon sadly passed away following a collision whilst on his way to meet his friends.

The family said: "Brandon, being the amazing young man that he was, was a registered organ donor, and with the support of his family, his Dad Wayne, step mum Samm and sisters Kayleigh and Danniella, Brandon’s final farewell was to give three other families another opportunity to be with their loved ones."

They added that Brandon was always full of life and a talented musician who taught himself guitar.

The statement reveals the tragic loss Brandon experienced in his young life, which perhaps influenced his decision to become an organ donor.

It said: "At only nine-years-old, Brandon lost his mum, Tracey, to cancer and his tragic passing set in motion a legacy that Brandon would have been proud of."

They highlighted that his decision to donate his organs has given three people a second chance of life.

The family's tribute ended with them asking for privacy and expressed their grief, saying: "Rest-in-peace Brandon, we love you always and forever, and miss you dearly."

The touching tribute reflects a cherished life and a profound personal legacy left behind by an inspirational young man.
