THREE more teenagers including one as young as age 13 have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing in High Wycombe.

Thames Valley Police has issued the latest update after a teenage girl was stabbed in an incident on Amersham Road, High Wycombe, on August 1.

It happened about 1.35am and the teenager was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries. She is now in a stable condition but remains in hospital.

Thames Valley Police has since arrested two women, aged 18 and 19, and a 13-year-old girl, all from High Wycombe, on suspicion of attempted murder. They all remain in police custody.

A 17-year-old girl, from High Wycombe, previously arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent remains in police custody too. She has been further arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

The investigation is ongoing and officers expect to remain at the scene in Amersham Road today (August 2).

Senior investigating officer Detective Inspector Philip Turner-Robson said: “Thank you to the community for your patience whilst we continue to carry out our investigation. We have now made four arrests and continue to investigate this as a priority.

“I would like to reiterate that we believe this was a targeted attack with no threat to the wider public. Anyone with concerns can get in touch or speak to a uniformed officer in the area.
