A charge has been made after a person was kidnapped in Chalfont St Peter.
At around 7.35pm on Friday, July 19, the offender grabbed a woman in her 20s, picked her up and put her into the front passenger seat of a dark coloured Audi on Market Place in the village.
The person in question then drove towards the High Street.
Witnesses nearby saw the victim screaming, asking the offender to leave her alone.
Fortunately, the woman did not sustain any injuries and is now safe.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Sarah Lansley, said: “We are specifically appealing for the members of the public of witnessed this incident to please get in touch.
“We would also ask anyone who may have dash-cam footage or CCTV of the incident to please come forward.
