A brand-new dog exercise and training park will open in Chalfont St Peter next month.
Chalfont Dog Park off West Hyde Lane will start taking bookings from August 1 via its website before opening on August 12.
The two-acre field can be privately hired from 6am to 9pm with last bookings at 8pm.
The price is £10 per hour per household for up to 4 dogs and additional households can be added for £5.
Deer fencing around 2m high keeps dogs using the field safe, while access to the site is ‘fully secure’ with electric gates.
On-site parking is also provided at the dog park, which is on the field behind Robertswood School.
The team behind the dog park say it is the perfect facility for dogs and puppies still practicing their recall and dogs that are reactive to other dogs or stimulus.
It will also be helpful to dogs with a high prey drive who otherwise could not be let off the lead in an open space, as well as nervous dogs or new rescues as they work on training.
A spokesperson for the dog park said: “If you have any other questions, we would love to hear from you. We can’t wait to welcome you to the field soon!”
They added: If you would like to know more about our park please feel free to call us on 07795 022813. We hope to welcome you to our large secure field in the near future.”
