There is significant disruption on the rail network due to a fault with signalling systems between High Wycombe and London Marylebone.
Trains running along the line have been delayed by roughly 25 minutes, with it expected to clear by 11am today [July 20].
This comes after problems occurred this morning when there was a ‘total loss of signalling’ between South Ruislip and High Wycombe.
Lines were closed as maintenance workers addressed the issue.
They have since reopened but ‘delays and alterations are to be expected’ due to further signalling issues between Beaconsfield and High Wycombe.
A Chiltern Railways spokesperson said: "We are advising customers not to travel before 10am on Saturday 20 July as a result of significant disruption on our network due to a signalling issue between High Wycombe and London Marylebone.
"Ticket acceptance has been agreed with GWR until 10am between Oxford and London Paddington.
"We are very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused."
