A leading bus company in the area has closed down its bus depots serving thousands of passengers.
Bosses at Arriva, a leading bus operator in Thames Valley and the Chilterns recently announced that they will be closing their depots in High Wycombe and Aylesbury on Saturday, July 27.
The depots were hubs for bus routes serving High Wycombe and the Chilterns, Aylesbury Vale, and Thames Valley, including Reading.
Luckily, all 12 of the routes provided by Arriva have been taken over by other operators.
Reading Buses has introduced a new service called the 'aqua 28', which will serve passengers heading between High Wycombe and Reading, running via Marlow, Henley, Shiplake and Caversham.
During operating hours, aqua 28 buses will run every 30 minutes from Mondays to Saturday, and up to every hour on evenings and Sundays.
A statement announcing the news on the Reading Buses website said: "We have previously received requests from customers asking us to introduce a more regular and reliable service to Henley.
"With the latest unfortunate news from Arriva, we thought this was a good time to test the water."

Aqua 28 services will begin on Monday, July 29.
Carousel Buses will be taking over all 12 of the routes previously operated by Arriva from Sunday, July 28.
As well as Reading Buses, Carousel will also run services between High Wycombe and Reading.
The 800, 850 and X80 buses previously operated by Arriva have been entirely taken over by Carousel, with no changes to the route or timetables.
The current Arriva 2 route between High Wycombe and Booker will become the 32 and 32A Carousel services.

The Arriva 2 and 12 services are being merged by Carousel to restore the cross town links between Micklefield, London Road and Booker.
The current Arriva 3 service will become Carousel route 33, serving High Wycombe and Desborough Castle.
The Arriva 5A running between High Wycombe, Flackwell Heath, Wooburn Green and Bourne End will become the Carousel 36S, with no change to the routing.
A similar Arriva service, the 6, will become the Carousel 36 with no change to the routeing.

Carousel has renamed the current Arriva 6A bus the 31S, serving Penn, High Wycombe, Flackwell Heath and Bourne End.
Arriva also runs the 7 service between High Wycombe and Maidenhead, which has been taken over by Carousel and renumbered as the 37.
Carousel's 37S service will take over the old Arriva 7A route, which runs to Wooburn Green and Bourne End.
The current Arriva 10 bus running from High Wycombe to the suburban village of Downley will be renumbered as the 30.
Carousel is also running the dedicated services to and from Penn, Micklefield and Totteridge will numbered the 31, 32 and 32A and the 33 buses respectively.
In cases where the timetable will change, Carousel has announced plans to start running buses earlier and keep them going longer than under Arriva.
These longer-running services will be for High Wycombe services to and from Booker, Desborough Castle, Micklefield and Totteridge.
Finally, operator Redline Buses Limited has taken over the former Arriva routes between Wycombe and Aylesbury and the X7/9 from Aylesbury to Oxford.
Redline services are set to begin on Sunday, July 28.
