Numerous vehicles have been seized following a huge crackdown on car crimes in the Thames Valley.
Across Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14, officers from Thames Valley Police visited numerous parts of Buckinghamshire and Berkshire to apprehend several people.
Firstly, they confirmed that a Toyota Avensis involved in the theft of an Ifor Williams trailer in Buckinghamshire had been seized for a forensic examination.
They then revealed that a roller which was recently stolen was located and seized in the Milton Keynes area.
The authorities then moved into Slough where they located and seized a BMW 4-series Gran Coupe within 24 hours of being stolen.
The vehicle has since been forensically examined and returned to its owner but enquiries are being completed.
In a separate incident, a male was stop-checked on a rural lane in Buckinghamshire.
They were searched under the Misuse of Drugs Act, which discovered they had been in possession of cannabis.
Colleagues from the Roads Policing Team attended to complete a drug wipe procedure with the person in question.
This indicated positive for cannabis therefore he was arrested and taken to custody where a sample of blood was obtained.
He has been released pending the results.
