Details of the landscaping for 16 new homes in Wycombe have been signed off despite complaints from neighbours.

Council planners approved Shanly Homes’ plans to demolish existing buildings on the site and replace them with new properties in July last year.
But they have now also signed off details of the landscaping for the development despite a dozen objections to the application.
The council said existing hedges between Inkerman Drive and the boundary with properties on Hazlemere View would be retained, while there would also be ‘street trees’ along the two new estate roads and small planting beds for each plot.
Planning officers waved away a dozen objections to the application as they approved the plans, saying that residents’ concerns about the size and layout of the development had already been addressed when the outline plans were approved.
However, several neighbours specifically objected to the landscaping, including Mrs Vikki Dale, who said: “It is a concern if they are not upkeeping the hedges at the moment, then planting new trees like others have mentioned sounds ridiculous and inconvenient to nearby properties.”
Mr Rajesh Shah said: “It is not at all easy to get an idea of the scale and visual appearance of the plantations from the two-dimensional landscaping plans.”
Change of use of caretaker’s flat at Dr Challoner’s High School, Cokes Lane, Little Chalfont (PL/24/1966/SA)
The grammar school for girls aged 11-18 has applied for permission to use the building as a teaching and enrichment space.
The former caretaker recently left the school after many years of service and used to live in a property by the school entrance.
Plans stated: “Rather than leave the building empty and for it to potentially fall into disrepair over time, we intend to use it as a teaching and enrichment space as part of Dr Challoner’s High School thereby enabling the school to provide an enhanced educational and wellbeing experience to our students.”
Swimming pool plan scrapped, ‘Fulmere’, 18 Dukes Kiln Drive Gerrards Cross (PL/24/1211/SA)
Plans to build a new swimming pool and gym at the property have been withdrawn and will not be decided upon by the council.
The applicant had proposed the new leisure facilities in a new outbuilding detached from the main property.
Floorplans for the new cladded structure included changing rooms, a shower, a toilet and a plant/store room.
