The Liberal Democrats could be in with a shot of taking the Beaconsfield seat from Conservative Joy Morrissey.
The latest Electoral Calculus prediction puts Lib Dem candidate Anna Crabtree polling 33 per cent of the vote, with Joy Morrissey just ahead with 34 per cent.
In an indication of the surge in popularity of Nigel Farage’s party, Reform UK candidate John Halsall is predicted to take 14.4 per cent of the vote, with Labour’s Matthew Patterson at his heels with 13.2 per cent.
Electoral Calculus also puts Green Party candidate Dominic Pegram at 3.8 per cent.
Ms Crabtree shared a list of tactical voting recommendations on X, formerly Twitter, yesterday (June 30), which put Beaconsfield high on its list of seats where “it’s better to vote Lib Dems than Labour if you want to get rid of the Tories”.

Celebrating the constituency being placed “third on the list”, she urged residents to “vote Lib Dem in Beaconsfield to see the back of our Tory MP”.
Incumbent Ms Morrissey will defend a majority of over 15,000 on July 4 in a constituency that has been a Conservative stronghold since it was created in 1974.
An average of recent national polling calculated by the PA News Agency ahead of the general election on Thursday puts Labour on 40 per cent, 20 points ahead of the Conservatives on 20 per cent, followed by Reform on 16 per cent, the Lib Dems on 12 per cent and the Greens on 6 per cent.
