A High Wycombe office block will be transformed into flats if a new planning application is approved.
Life Build Solutions Ltd has asked Buckinghamshire Council for permission to transform the building at 2 Buckingham Place, Bellfield Road.
The applicant has proposed six studios across the ground, first and second floors, each complete with its own bedroom, living area and kitchen.
Under the plans, the third floor would be transformed into a two-bedroom flat with a larger living and kitchen area.
In its application, the developer claimed it would ensure that the flats had ‘suitable glazing and rooflights’ fitted in all habitable rooms.

Blueprints for the new apartments appear to show two parking spaces for residents, as well as allocated bin and bike storage areas.
The council’s environmental health team has responded to the plans, citing concerns about noise from the A4010 West Wycombe Road and surrounding busy streets.
In a written submission, it said: “These sources of unwelcome noise will need to include acoustic glazing and ventilation mitigation.”
Officers recommended that the plans be refused permission unless certain conditions were imposed, including that a detailed noise scheme be submitted, and acoustic testing carried out after completion.
