A man has been slapped with over £1,000 in fines and costs after speeding at over 20mph the local limit in a village.
Alexander Dockery, 35, of Balfour Crescent, Bracknell, drove a Vauxhall at Wooburn Green on September 3, 2023.
At Holtspur Lane, an officer caught him travelling at 54mph - well over the 30mph limit.
Dockery appeared before High Wycombe Magistrates' Court on April 17 this year.
There, he pleaded guilty to a charge of speeding.
In light of this, magistrates handed him a £660 fine.
Dockery will also have to pay a £264 victim surcharge and £90 in court costs.
He was not disqualified from driving - but his licence was endorsed with six points.
A driver can receive up to 12 points within three years before losing their licence.
