A frequently-used pub in a village near High Wycombe will be closed for roughly three weeks as they undergo a huge renovation.
The Old Bell in Wooburn Green, which dates back to the 16th century, temporarily closed its doors on Thursday, June 20 with their reopening being set for Thursday, July 11.
It will reopen at 10am.
The pub and restaurant is a venue that has is regularly visited by locals, with the establishment boasting an average score of 4.5/5 from 361 Google Reviews.
This has made it one of the most popular venues in the south of the county.
One of the most recent testimonies reads: “The service was lovely with warm and smiley faces to greet us through the door. The food was delicious and filling and the price was very reasonable.
“Only downside is not enough parking but there is a free car park down the road.
“Overall, very good.”
Another says: “Our food came quickly and was delicious, really fresh and well cooked.
“The portion sizes are excellent, and you wouldn't want more.
“The desserts are all homemade and a must if you have room.”
