The assistant manager of Nando's in High Wycombe has encouraged members of the public to visit the branch once it reopens.

The restaurant, which is based in the Eden Centre, has been closed for the past five weeks as it undergoes a huge renovation.

The interior and exterior décor have been changed, along with this equipment in the kitchen.

The revamp is also the first to take place at the establishment since it opened several years ago.

On the official website, it reads: “We’re nodding to our Southern African and Portuguese heritage with chairs, tables and vibrant patterns and you might spot rustic wooden elements that take inspiration from High Wycombe’s rich history.”

The restaurant’s assistant manager, who wanted to remain nameless, said: “It’s very exciting and we can’t wait to see the final product.

“The entire décor has changed and it will look like a brand new restaurant once it's all done.

“It’s important to keep things up to date as our menu changes all the time, and those who come when we reopen will see a lot more seats, there’ll be a condiment station and more drink machines.

“Please come and visit us, as the reopening will be the best time for you to visit."

It will reopen on Friday, June 28.
