A model shop that moved out of High Wycombe’s Eden Shopping Centre in March will reopen at a new site on Saturday, June 22.
Collectables R Us closed its branch in Eden following “increased rent, decreased customer spending and more and more shoplifting incidents”.
The independent business, owned by Darryl and Carole Earle, has a loyal local customer base who were driven to “the brink of depression” by the closure news.
They need despair no longer, however, as Collectables R Us will reopen at the new unit of 16 Church Street on Saturday with a raft of new attractions including a monthly modelling club, Scalextric races and a range of children’s toys.
