Work is underway to try and reunite a German Shepherd that with its owners after it was reported missing.

The female dog was found on Sunday, June 9 in Iver.

She was not wearing a collar when she was discovered and her chip is not registered.

The pooch will spend seven days in a council pound (at the time of writing, she is now on day five), before they become property of the council.

In some cases, dogs can be sent to a rescue shelter or put to sleep if no shelter spaces are available.

Online appeals have been made to try and locate the owners.

There is a strong possibility that the dog have strayed from another reigoin outside the Thames Valley.
