A coffee shop and restaurant has received a new food hygiene score following a recent inspection.

James' Kitchen, which is in Winslow, has been given a rating of three out of five after it was visited by officials from Buckinghamshire Council on May 2 this year.

The report stated that the food hygiene and safety aspect of the establishment were ‘good’, whilst the structural compliance and confidence in management were both ‘generally satisfactory.

It means that of Buckinghamshire's 807 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 591 (73 per cent) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.

In one of its most recent positive Google Reviews, it said: “Very happy to have found this place in passing by. Low key, pleasant service. We sat out the back in the sun.”
